RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Gallatin woman has been arrested in connection with a Tuesday night fire at a manufactured home in Rutherford County.
Just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, officials said crews from Rutherford County Fire Rescue, Rutherford County Emergency Medical Service, the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office and Almaville Volunteer Fire Rescue were dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 7000 block of Ocala Road in Murfreesboro.
When units arrived at the scene, they reportedly observed heavy smoke and flames coming from a manufactured home. While personnel worked to bring the fire under control, with assistance from Storm Point Incident Support, the Rutherford County Fire Marshal’s Office (RCFMO) was called to the scene.
The manufactured home — which had no power or water service — was uninhabited at the time of the blaze, according to Rutherford County.
Officials said RCMFO investigators took 26-year-old Tiffany Johnson into custody and charged with reckless burning in relation to the incident. She was booked into the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on a $2,000 bond ahead of her hearing, which is set for Feb. 18 in General Sessions Court.
No additional details have been released about Tuesday night’s structure fire.
