NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 31-year-old woman was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly drove the wrong way on Interstate 40 in West Nashville on Christmas night.
According to Metro police, Tori Reyes crashed into multiple vehicles just before 11 p.m. on Dec. 25, 2024.
Officers were first notified of a driver going the wrong way on I-40 and attempted to get ahead of the driver and stop traffic. Reyes reportedly got onto I-40 East at Exit 196 and drove west until she crashed near mile marker 195.
According to court documents, Reyes hit at least three other vehicles in a work zone.
Responding officers found Reyes passed out in the driver’s seat with a weak pulse. She was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment of possible life-threatening injuries.
