WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WKRN) — Deputies with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office are searching for multiple suspects following a chase involving a car reported stolen out of Nashville early Monday morning.
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post that deputies were patrolling the Baileys Farm subdivision around 1:49 a.m. when they saw a man in dark clothing run away from two parked vehicles.
The post added the man got into a silver Nissan Altima with no headlights on; the Altima then reportedly left the neighborhood and deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop. However, “the vehicle fled at a high rate of speed towards Scottsville Road” before crashing in the parking lot of a nearby business.
Three suspects fled the vehicle on foot and though deputies searched the area for them, the suspects were not found. Deputies with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office said witnesses reported seeing two suspects armed with guns as they fled through neighborhoods behind he business.
The wrecked Nissan Altima was reported stolen out of Nashville, Tennessee, the sheriff’s office said. A search of the Altima yielded a rifle, a cell phone and key tools. The Warren County Sheriff’s Office said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
