The owners reportedly arrived at the business Monday morning and discovered that the trailer used to donate items to events was missing.
Officials added Bella’s Closet is “committed to helping women in Clarksville look and feel their best, regardless of their social or financial situations.” The nonprofit also offers free clothing and accessories, resume building, interview skills and financial counseling to support women’s personal and professional growth.
Cynthia Pitt, founder of the nonprofit, expressed that the loss of the trailer is “truly heartbreaking,” stating the nonprofit is now unable to transport clothes for pop-up events, which “significantly impacts their mission.”
Detectives said anyone who spots the trailer is asked to call Detective Heath at (931)648-0656 or Clarksville Montgomery County Crime Stoppers at (931) 645-8477.
No additional details were immediately released.
