CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway following a shooting at a Clarksville tobacco store Sunday evening that sent a teenager to the hospital.
The Clarksville Police Department said a 911 call came in shortly before 5:45 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2 from a person at 101st Adult Dentistry, saying his passenger had been shot.
When officers arrived, they said they found a 15-year-old boy with a gunshot wound. However, authorities determined the shooting had happened at Chum’s Discount Tobacco Store in the 800 block of Peachers Mill Road.
According to officials, the victim was transported to Tennova Healthcare. However, there is no word on his current condition.
Police urge anyone near Chum’s to check their surveillance cameras to see if there’s anything suspicious starting around 5:30 p.m. If you have any information about Sunday’s shooting, you’re asked to call 911 immediately.
