MARSHALL/GILES COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A multi-vehicle crash led to a closure of Interstate 65 North Tuesday evening.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) reported a crash at mile marker 33 in Marshall County at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to the agency’s SmartWay map.
Erin Zeigler, a regional communications officer for TDOT, posted to social media that all lanes would be closed due to a crash at mile marker 33 in Giles County. Zeigler added that the scene would not be totally cleared until about 10 p.m.
A spokesperson for the Tennessee Highway Patrol told News 2 troopers are continuing their investigation into the crash, adding a detour has been established at mile marker 32. No further details were immediately released.
