NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A winter storm moved across the region Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, bringing dangerously cold temperatures and snowfall.
Preliminary snow totals show that some areas received nearly 6″ of snow while others saw less than half an inch.
These are the highest reported at each location, not necessarily the entire town. For example, some spots in Clarksville reported 5.4″ of snow while others saw 2.8″.

Nashville got an average of 2″ of snow, according to NWS. However, reported totals show that some areas received more. For example, Belle Meade received 3.4″ and Berry Hill got 2.5″.

According to News 2’s Meteorologists, Nashville receives approximately 4.7″ of snowfall a year.
Now that the snow has moved through, refreezing of moisture is expected in the next few days as temperatures stay bellow freezing until Saturday. Next week, the region is forecasted to reach up to 60 degrees!
