NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting on Interstate 40 in South Nashville.
The incident was reported around 2 a.m. Sunday near the Fesslers Lane exit of I-40.
The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed to traffic as law enforcement investigated.
Authorities told News 2 that no injuries were reported, however, officers are investigating a “fatal incident.”
No additional information on potential suspects or arrests was immediately available.
