RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Law enforcement is investigating an overnight shooting near an apartment building in Smyrna, according to reports.
Officials said the incident occurred around 2 a.m. Saturday near the Sterling at Stonecrest Apartments in the 400 block of Great Circle, near Rock Springs Road.
One person was injured and transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment, according to authorities.
No additional information was released as the investigation remains underway.
