NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A crash involving two tractor-trailers has snarled traffic along Interstate 40 in Hermitage Friday morning.
The crash happened in the westbound lanes near mile marker 221 around 2:15 a.m.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation, one of the trucks was parked on the shoulder of the interstate when it was hit by a second semi. It is not known if anyone was injured in the crash.
The crash caused the initial semi to lose its load, which was cases of frozen biscuits.
One lane is closed to traffic while the biscuits are off-loaded. It is not known when the roadway will fully reopen to traffic.
