NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A portion of Interstate 65 remains closed in Madison following a Friday afternoon rollover crash.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) said the crash was reported around 12:15 p.m. near mile marker 91.8 in the southbound lanes.

Motorists are being advised to seek alternate routes. Traffic is being detoured at the Old Hickory Boulevard exit, per TDOT.
The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said the crash involved a car and semi-truck, adding that critical injuries were reported.
TDOT’s Smartway Map shows a miles-long backup as crews work to move traffic off the interstate and onto the exit ramp.
It remains unclear when the interstate will reopen. No additional details were immediately released.
