NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Metro police are searching for a suspect who fatally shot another man at an East Nashville gas station Sunday night.
Officers were called to a Z Mart convenience store in the 800 block of Dickerson Pike around 9:50 p.m. Sunday, where two men had reportedly been involved in an altercation.
During the fight, one of the men pulled out a gun and opened fire on the other. The victim died from his wounds, officials said.
The suspect reportedly ran away from the scene.
Monday morning, officers said the search for the suspect continues, but they believe he will be captured soon. No additional information was immediately released.
