NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department responded to a shots fired call in Inglewood Friday afternoon.
Metro Dispatch confirmed multiple units with the MNPD responded to a shots fired call received at 4:55 p.m. in the 1100 block of Greenfield Avenue. An MNPD spokesperson told News 2 that no one was struck during the incident, which stemmed from a property dispute.
Officers on the scene told News 2 that someone had come to a home to serve foreclosure papers to the residence when a man with a ski mask and dark clothing fired at least two shots, which hit the man’s vehicle.
Leads are actively being followed in the case, the MNPD spokesperson added.
