NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Looking for a new pet? Check out News 2 “Pets of the Week” segment every Tuesday on Good Morning Nashville.
Hoppie
Hoppie is affectionate, playful and full of life. She loves wrestling and romping with her shelter buddies, chasing after her favorite toys in a good game of fetch, and exploring the world on walks. She is smart, eager to please and always ready to learn (especially when treats are involved!) Somehow, this sweet girl has been overlooked for months—but the moment you meet her, you’ll wonder how that’s even possible!
Rose
Sweet Rose is eight years young and looking for a love that lasts forever! After being abandoned at a local dog park, she is now in foster care, waiting for a family to call her own. Looking to skip the puppy chaos? Rose is already potty-trained and sleeps soundly through the night, making her a great low-maintenance companion! Rose is all about the simple joys—leisurely walks, gentle snuggles and quiet companionship. She gets along well with calm dogs but isn’t a fan of cats.
Pebbles
Need a fun-loving, dog-friendly adventure buddy? Pebbles is your guy! This goofy, energetic pup wears his heart on his sleeve. Pebbles was found outside an abandoned apartment building last July and has been in our care ever since.
Maeve
If you’re looking for a pal who’s equal parts adventure and affection, this is your girl! Maeve is dog-friendly, kid-friendly and an all-around sweetheart. She has been mastering commands and house manners with her foster family. When she’s not playing with her foster brother, you’re sure to find her curled up in a lap, giving away lots of smooches!
Cypress
This handsome boy has been waiting and waiting for his forever home. A total rockstar in playgroup, Cypress loves making new friends — humans and pups alike. He is looking for an active, patient home ready to continue his training. Smart, food-motivated and always ready to learn, Cypress is a star in the making! Cypress has a playful, jumpy style, so a home without small kids would be best.
