NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Music City has been named one of the top 2025 travel destinations by the world’s largest travel guidance platform.
Tripadvisor recently released the results of its Travelers Choice Best of the Best 2025 Awards. According to the guidance platform, winners are based on reviews and ratings collected over 12 months.
The awards honor travelers’ favorite destinations, hotels, restaurants, things to do, and beyond.
Nashville claimed the No. 6 spot in the platform’s Best of the Best Destinations category. Tripadvisor said cities in this category received a high volume of “above-and-beyond reviews and opinions,” adding that out of eight million listings, fewer than 1% achieved that milestone.
Tripadvisor praised Nashville’s 24/7 music scene, stating that a “creative spirit” is constantly flowing through the city.

From honky-tonk bands jamming at Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge to songwriters in the round at the Bluebird Café and country music legends rocking the Grand Ole Opry, you never know who you might see,” wrote Tripadvisor. “The creative spirit from Nashville’s music landscape flows into the area’s myriad art galleries, up-and-coming fashion scene, historic landmarks and chef-driven restaurants.”

The Tennessee capital also ranked among the top 10 in the award’s U.S. food category, ranking above cities in California and Maine.
