COFFEE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A law enforcement pursuit Tuesday in Coffee County resulted in the arrest of a person wanted for murder, according to officials.
Coffee County Sheriff’s Office said the pursuit started around 5:15 p.m. in Manchester after authorities spotted an individual wanted on a murder indictment in the county.
Officials said the suspect led deputies on a brief pursuit to Interstate 24 near mile marker 109. During the chase, one patrol vehicle crashed, but no injuries were reported.
The individual was taken into custody. No additional details on the arrest were immediately released.
