DICKSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Several fire departments responded to an “illegal burn” in Dickson County Tuesday.

Dickson County Fire & Rescue — along with the Charlotte Fire Department, the Dickson County Emergency Management Agency and the Cumberland Furnace Fire Department — responded to what they called an “illegal burn” in the 100 block of Long Road at about 11:17 a.m. Tuesday.
The Dickson County fire is one of the latest in a series of fires reported by agencies across Middle Tennessee. Cheatham County authorities responded to multiple fires in Pegram and Kingston Springs, White County firefighters worked to extinguish a wildfire and Lawrence County firefighters have responded to six brush fires due to “dry and windy conditions.”
High wind warnings have been issued across much of Middle Tennessee
