WHITE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Members from several fire departments are working to contain a large wildfire that sparked Tuesday afternoon in White County.
According to the Central View Volunteer Fire Department, the fire was reported in the Cashdollar Cove area behind the White County Recreation Complex.

The county’s emergency management office added that there are no evacuations required at this time.
Residents are being advised to not burn today as strong winds impact Middle Tennessee. According to the Nashville Weather Service (NWS), gusts are anticipated to reach between 35 and 50 miles per hour.
