MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — On Wednesday, Mt. Juliet police arrested a suspect wanted out of Rutherford County since June 2024.
A Mt. Juliet officer stopped the 42-year-old Murfreesboro man for driving a car with an expired license plate along Interstate 40 East. After checking police records, authorities discovered the man was wanted out of Rutherford County for felony failure to appear.
The suspect had failed to appear in court on a warrant related to felony evasion charges, drug possession and evidence tampering.
“We’re grateful for our officers’ vigilance and dedication in protecting one of the safest communities around,” a social media post from the Mt. Juliet Police Department reads, in part.
