ANTIOCH, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) has asked for the public’s help in identifying suspects involved with an Antioch shooting.
The MNPD said witnesses reported the drivers of two Dodge Challengers were doing donuts and burnouts in front of the 61-year-old victim’s home on Fanning Drive when the drivers nearly struck a family member.
The victim confronted the drivers and said he was going to call the police. The drivers reportedly fled the scene, but the white Dodge Challenger in the images below returned.
One of the occupants of the white Dodge Challenger allegedly said, “Oh, you’re going to call the police?” before the front passenger in the car fired shots at the man, striking him in the ankle.
The driver of the Challenger was described as a “white man with a fade haircut” by the MNPD, and authorities described the shooter as a Black man. Both, the MNPD added, appeared to be in their early 20s.
Anyone with information about the occupants of either vehicle in the photos above has been asked to call Crime Stoppers at (615) 742-7463.
