NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Babies born on Wednesday are not only the first babies of 2025, but they’re also the first babies of Generation Beta! Hospitals around Middle Tennessee celebrated this milestone by sharing photos of these precious newborns.
So far, the earliest birth reported in the region was Willow at 12:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 1 at TriStar Horizon Medical Center, weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces.
Shortly afterward came Mason, who was born at 12:36 a.m. at TriStar Summit Medical Center, HCA Healthcare said, adding that he weighed 6 pounds, 2 ounces.
Maury Regional Health said the Maury Regional Medical Center’s first baby of the year, Jeremiah Mayberry, arrived at 1:20 a.m., weighing 6 pounds, 9 ounces, and measuring 19.5 inches long.
Up next was Michael, who entered the world at 1:38 a.m. at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, according to HCA Healthcare.
Several hours later — more specifically, at 7:45 a.m. — officials said Dylan was born at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, weighing 8 pounds, 8 ounces.
Then, at 11:10 a.m., HCA Healthcare said Raphael made his arrival at TriStar Centennial Medical Center, weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces, and measuring 20.5 inches long.
