NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Nashville authorities are trying to track down a car following a road rage shooting on Nolensville Pike Saturday morning that left one person injured.
According to Metro Nashville dispatch, the incident was reported at approximately 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8 from the 4000 block of Nolensville Pike.
The Metro Nashville Police Department told News 2 that a “road rage incident” involving people in an Infiniti and a Toyota Yaris resulted in the Infiniti driver firing at the Toyota. The motorists reportedly exchanged words just before the shooting.
Officials said the 26-year-old passenger in the Toyota ended up with a wound in his knee, so the Toyota driver pulled into a fast food parking lot and called for help. Meanwhile, the Infiniti sped away from the scene.
Police described the Infiniti as an older model sedan with light gray or silver paint and black rims. Law enforcement also shared a photo of what is believed to be the car involved in the incident:
