NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department’s (MNPD) Cold Case Unit, along with a dozen members of the MNPD’s Urban Search and Rescue team, are conducting a search for possible additional human remains after a skull was found in the Bordeaux area of Nashville.
According to police, the skull was located by a passerby in a wooded area off Kirk Avenue on Jan. 2.

MNPD said the skull does not match any local missing persons from that area, prompting the search for additional remains in the area.
Police believe the skull to be that of a male, aged approximately 28-48, who died within the last two years.
