GALLATIN, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man wanted for attempted murder was detained on Monday after a months-long search, according to the Gallatin Police Department.
Authorities said 43-year-old Joshua Robb was wanted on a warrant for attempted second-degree homicide. Sumner County Sheriff’s Office records show that Robb is also charged with aggravated assault, parole violation, failure to appear and violating an order of protection.
The GPD, U.S. Marshals Service and the Portland Police Department coordinated to locate Robb and successfully took him into custody on Jan. 6.
There has been an ongoing search for Robb since Nov. 18, 2024, and Gallatin police previously stated that he was considered “armed and dangerous.”
In a statement on Monday, the GPD said,
Thanks to the dedication and teamwork of all agencies involved, Robb was successfully apprehended today.
We are currently interviewing Robb in connection with this case as part of our ongoing investigation.
