OAK GROVE, Ky. (WKRN) — A man was reportedly shot and killed at a truck stop in Oak Grove Saturday morning.
According to WKDZ Radio, the Oak Grove Police Department said a man was shot at least once at the Pilot Travel Center along Pembroke Oak Grove Road on Saturday, Dec. 28.
The radio station said authorities believe the suspect was trying to steal the victim’s van, adding that law enforcement reported a witness pursued the vehicle that fled the area after the shooting, but nobody has been arrested as of this writing.
WKDZ Radio said Christian County deputies and Oak Grove officers performed CPR on the man, who was found in the parking lot, but they weren’t able to revive him. The Christian County coroner reportedly pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
