CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A head-on collision in Clarksville Wednesday night left one driver dead and another injured, according to law enforcement.
The Clarksville Police Department said officers responded to a two-vehicle wreck with injuries in the 700 block of Kraft Street shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 22. As a result, Kraft Street was temporarily shut down between Emerald Hills Drive and Abra Auto Body Shop.
According to officials, 36-year-old Justin Lyle of Clarksville was traveling east on Kraft Street when, for unknown reasons, his vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic, causing the crash. Lyle was brought to Tennova Healthcare, but he was pronounced dead shortly after his arrival.
Authorities said the second driver was taken to Blanchfield Army Community Hospital and treated for minor injuries.
No additional details have been released about Wednesday’s collision.
