NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Goodlettsville man has died following a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning along Dickerson Pike.
The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) said the crash happened Monday, Feb. 24 at approximately 4 a.m. on Dickerson Pike at Old Hickory Boulevard.
Authorities reported a preliminary investigation indicates that Nicholas Hardy, 50, of Goodlettsville, was traveling north in a Chevrolet Impala at a high rate of speed when he crossed into oncoming lanes before crashing into a metal utility pole.

Hardy was taken to Skyline Medical Center where he died. Police added there were no signs of impairment at the scene.
