LEBANON, Tenn. (WKRN) — While responding to a report about someone pointing a gun at several people in Lebanon Wednesday evening, law enforcement ended up making two arrests.
The Lebanon Police Department said it was notified on Wednesday, Feb. 26 about a male who pointed a gun at multiple people after being asked to leave the Sports World property for acting suspiciously in the parking lot.
Authorities said they quickly arrived in the area and discovered a man matching the subject’s description in the Don Fox Park parking lot. After detaining him, officers reportedly found drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine.

According to officials, the man — who is “believed to be an undocumented immigrant” — was arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of meth.
During the investigation, police said they also identified and located a 37-year-old La Vergne woman who was present during the assault and accompanied the man from Sports World to the park. She had multiple warrants out of Nashville and a failure to appear warrant out of Rutherford County, so she was taken into custody without incident.
“Our dedicated officers take any incident of this nature with the utmost seriousness, especially when it occurs near our parks, where families and children gather. Their commitment to ensuring the safety of our community is unwavering,” the department posted on Facebook on Friday, Feb. 28. “We are grateful for their diligent and swift efforts to locate these individuals. Their quick response and dedication reflect the high standards we expect and strive to uphold.”
No additional details have been released about Wednesday’s incident, including the names of the two people who were apprehended.
