NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man who was allegedly unsatisfied with work done to his vehicle is now behind bars after police said he pointed a gun while demanding a refund at a South Nashville tire shop.
According to an arrest report, the incident took place on Nov. 27, 2024 at a tire shop located in the 1100 block of Murfreesboro Pike.
A witness reportedly told officers that the suspect —identified as 49-year-old Marlow Blackman— arrived at the business at approximately 9:30 a.m. and claimed to have a problem with the tire that was placed on his vehicle the day before.
The victim stated Blackman was advised that the tire had been damaged after it was installed and there was nothing the business could do to fix it since there was no warranty.
After learning that the business would not replace or fix the tire, Blackman pulled out a handgun and demanded a refund, according to an arrest report.

He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
