MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — A kidnapping suspect was taken into custody early Friday morning after a pursuit through multiple counties ended in Mt. Juliet.
Mt. Juliet police reported the incident began in Nashville when a man holding a woman against her will was pursued into Rutherford County where he hit a law enforcement vehicle and drove away.
Metro police later located the suspect with the victim in Nashville and pursued their vehicle into Wilson County.

Mt. Juliet officers pursued the vehicle and stopped it with spike strips near a gas station on Mt. Juliet Road at Interstate 40 around 1 a.m. The suspect surrendered to officers and the victim was found to be unharmed.
The suspect was taken back to Nashville by Metro police officers. No additional information was immediately released.
