NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Motorists are backed up for miles in Davidson County Sunday afternoon due to a crash blocking Interstate 24 East near Harding Place.
According to the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT), the multi-vehicle crash was reported shortly after 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 2 at mile marker 56 on I-24. As a result, all eastbound lanes and shoulders are blocked, along with the entry ramp.
A TDOT spokesperson said traffic is being routed at Briley Parkway. Meanwhile, TDOT’s SmartWay traffic map shows a diversion route set up at Exit 56 (SR-255/Harding Place) on I-24 East, where all eastbound lanes and the left shoulder are blocked.
Based on TDOT traffic cameras, traffic is delayed past mile marker 53 on I-24.
