NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The location of multiple beloved restaurants in Donelson was destroyed in a fire early Wednesday morning.
Nashville firefighters were called to historic farmhouse located at 2739 Old Elm Hill Pike around 2:30 a.m.
The fire department reported heavy flames and smoke were visible through the roof when crews arrived at the home. The home is believed to have been vacant and no injuries were reported.
The 100-year-old, wood-framed house was the home of the beloved restaurant, Ellendale’s, the second home of the Nashville spaghetti house, the Grecian Inn, a Moose lodge and it was the original location of Purity Dairy Farms.
Ellendale’s closed in 2018 and was open for nearly 20 years.
