NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Just hours after the deadly shooting at Antioch High School Wednesday, a gun was found inside a backpack at McGavock High School in Donelson.
According to court documents, a gun was found in a backpack belonging to 18-year-old Victor Littleton.
Officers were called to the campus around 5 p.m. by a administrator who believed a stolen iPhone was inside Littleton’s backpack. The bag was searched and a gun was recovered.
Littleton told officers he came to the school to play basketball with a friend and did not know a firearm was inside the backpack.
Littleton was booked into the Metro jail and charged with carrying a weapon on school property. He has been released on a $2,500 bail.
