RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Over the course of 48 hours, Rutherford County Fire and Rescue responded to multiple fires involving houses and other structures.
According to RCFR, it was on Thursday that the first of the string of fires broke out.
Several crews responded to a residence along Murray-Kittrell Road and discovered multiple vehicles on fire along with a shop, garage and carport. Additionally, the roof of one of the structures had caved in.
Firefighters reportedly approached the blaze from different angles and worked to contain it. No additional details were shared about the extent of the damage.
While crews were at the scene on Murray-Kittrell Road, another fire was reported on Factory Road. Firefighters arrived to find two outbuildings and a motorcycle engulfed in flames. Crews extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading to multiple RVs nearby.
In the early hours of Friday morning, a fire was reported at a residence on Blackman Road, prompting a response from multiple crews and law enforcement officials. It was quickly extinguished with minimal damage to the building, according to RCFR.
Later that same day, firefighters were called to Irby Lane after flames reached the attic from a chimney fire. The fire was contained and the house was left with minimal damage from smoke and water damage, officials said.

A fifth fire occurred on Saturday after two vehicles caught fire in a driveway and flames spread to the exterior of a house. Photos from the scene show the severely damaged cars and melted siding on the house. No additional details were shared about how the fire began.

According to RCFR, no injuries were reported at any of the fires.
In all five cases, the Rutherford County Fire Marshal’s Office and the ATF Nashville Field Division ruled the fires to be accidental.
