NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Cold temperatures remain in place this work week. Due to the snow showers earlier Monday, there could be some icy spots tonight into Tuesday morning. Use caution when driving.
The cold temps stick around all week long. Highs barely get above freezing and lows hold in the 20s and teens.
Then, we will track another system for Friday. It is a good setup for snow with cold air in place and a low-pressure center coming from the Gulf with lots of moisture. Snow will move in Friday morning and continue into early Saturday morning.
It is too early to talk about exact totals, but there is a medium chance for at least 1 inch of snow and possibly more in spots. This will impact travel on Friday and even Saturday as temps do not get above freezing, so whatever we do see will stick around.
