MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — No one was seriously hurt when a car crashed into an apartment building in Murfreesboro, according to city firefighters.
The Murfreesboro Fire Rescue Department (MFRD) responded to a vehicle-versus-building crash at the intersection of Middle Tennessee Boulevard and Bradyville Pike. Upon arrival, MFRD says they discovered a three-vehicle crash, with one of the vehicles striking a building of Chelsea Place Apartments.
MFRD Engine 3 requested the Structural Collapse Unit to assess and stabilize the building; the vehicle was safely removed from the apartment building, and the team shored the damaged area.
All injuries from the initial crash were non-life-threatening, according to MFRD. One individual was inside the apartment when the vehicle crashed into it, but they were unharmed, firefighters said.
