MAURY COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — A fire at an auto body shop in Columbia on Friday is now being investigated by the fire marshal’s office.
According to Columbia Fire and Rescue, just before noon Friday, fire crews were called to Brown’s Body Shop in the 1500 block of Nashville Highway.

Smoke could be seen pouring out of several garage doors in the building.
Authorities reported that crews found hazardous paint materials in the body shop, which were successfully contained. No injuries were reported in the incident, according to CFR.
The large fire prompted a response from additional departments, including the Maury County Fire Department, Spring Hill Fire Department and Mount Pleasant Fire.
The Columbia Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
