NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) announced the arrest of another 19-year-old in connection with a Whites Creek shooting that left one man injured.
Police said around 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, the 35-year-old victim and his wife were home in bed when he heard someone pulling on the vehicle’s door handles; when the victim opened a window to confront the suspects, at least one person opened fire toward the home.
The MNPD had already arrested 19-year-old Jordan Worthington in connection with the case. A .40 caliber semi-automatic pistol was recovered from Worthington’s car; he faces several charges in connection with the incident.
On Friday, the MNPD announced detectives with the Special Investigation Divisions TITANS unit arrested William Hope, 19, on an attempted murder charge in connection with the case as well. Authorities were able to take Hope into custody without incident on the afternoon of Feb. 21.
Hope will also face attempted vehicle burglary, felony reckless endangerment and two counts of aggravated assault charges.
