JOELTON, Tenn. (WKRN) — At least one person has died following a crash on Whites Creek Pike that involved a semi-truck, officials said.
The Nashville Department of Transportation (NDOT) took to social media just after 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, to report that Whites Creek Pike at Jackman Road was closed due to a crash involving a semi-truck and a passenger vehicle.

In addition, NDOT also stated that a “diesel spillage” occurred on the roadway as a result of the collision.
At 11:58 a.m., Tennessee Highway Patrol’s Nashville district reported that the roadway remained closed. Motorists are being advised to seek alternate routes.
No additional details about the crash were immediately released.
