TRIGG COUNTY, Ky. (WKRN) — An investigation is underway after a high-speed chase reportedly led to an officer-involved shooting in Trigg County.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office told News 2 the chase began in Lyon County on Interstate 24, adding that the driver reached speeds of up to 120 miles per hour.

According to News 2’s partners at WKDZ Radio, the driver took the Cadiz exit and crashed the vehicle on Broadbent Boulevard before firing shots at law enforcement.
Authorities at the scene reportedly told the radio station that two people, including a law enforcement officer, were injured.
Officials told News 2 at least one deputy was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. The extent of their injuries remain unknown.
Kentucky State Police confirmed an officer-involved shooting occurred, but had no other information at the time.
