NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — An 18-year-old was arrested in Clarksville Thursday night in connection with a deadly November 2024 shooting at William Pitts Park.
The Metro Nashville Police Department said the teen was arrested in Clarksville on an outstanding Juvenile Court homicide charge for the late November shooting of 23-year-old Mohamed Keita of Riverdale, Georgia. Keita was found with multiple gunshot wounds in the driver’s seat of his Infiniti sedan.
The teen — who was 17 at the time of the shooting — was brought to MNPD headquarters Friday night and allegedly admitted to detectives with the Homicide Unit that she helped set up and participate in a robbery leading up to Keita’s death.
As of publication, she is being held and is pending a Juvenile Court hearing.
