NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Metro Nashville Police Department found a vehicle involved with a hit-and-run crash that left a doctor seriously injured.
In a post to X, the MNPD said they recovered a red Jeep Liberty involved with the Feb. 22 crash on 8th Avenue South. Dr. Joshua Taylor with TriStar Stonecrest was crossing the street near the Melrose area when he was reportedly struck by the vehicle before it drove away.

The Jeep was found at an apartment complex on McMurray Drive and has been taken to the department’s crime lab. The tag had been removed from the vehicle and police said it was parked to obstruct the driver’s door, which was black. The MNPD had released surveillance video of the vehicle and police had been searching for it for days.
