ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — Greenbrier Middle School in Robertson County was placed on lockdown Tuesday morning.
Director of Robertson County Schools, Danny Weeks, said the campus on US 41 was locked down due to a bomb threat around 8:15 a.m.
Law enforcement including Homeland Security responded to the school and conducted a sweep of the campus.
Nothing was found during the sweep and school operations are expected to return to normal.
Investigators believe the IP address used as the source of the threat was from outside Robertson County.
No additional information was immediately released.
