A spokesperson for the Williamson County Fire Rescue Department told News 2 that crews responded to a call in the 5000 block of Iron Gate Drive Monday. When firefighters arrived, they saw flames erupting from the home. Units from Brentwood Fire and Rescue Department were called to help.
The home’s residents were able to escape without injury and no firefighters were injured, either. However, the spokesperson said the home’s roof was compromised, so the structure would likely be a total loss. An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
A Facebook post from Williamson County Fire Rescue said crews would be on the scene late into Monday night to finish putting out hot spots. The agency added more details on this incident would be released later.
