ROCK ISLAND, Tenn. (WKRN) — Authorities arrested a man after finding two victims with lacerations in Rock Island Friday.
According to the Warren County Sheriff’s Department, officers were dispatched to Rock Island Friday and found one woman who suffered “from a laceration to her throat” and a second woman who sustained a laceration to the shoulder. Both women were transported to Erlanger via helicopter for treatment.
The women reportedly gave Bobby Graves a ride to Warren County. After arriving in Warren County, police said “an incident occurred” leading to the injuries. Though Graves left the scene, he was “quickly located” by White County authorities, who apprehended him in the woods. However, before he could be detained, Graves “inflicted a laceration to his throat.”
The White County sheriff told News 2 Graves was also transported to Erlanger via helicopter for treatment.
“Despite post [sic] on multiple social media platforms, both victims were responsive and able to give statements to law enforcement at the scene,” a Facebook post from the Warren County Sheriff’s Department reads, in part. “Also, officers believe they have identified everyone involved in this incident, and there is no further search ongoing.”
Police believe drugs played a role in the incident and charges are forthcoming. The Warren County Sheriff’s Department said more information would be released at a later time.
