NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Heavy rain and thunderstorms pushed into Middle Tennessee late Friday night, and downpours continued Saturday into the early hours of Sunday.
During that 48-hour period, parts of Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky picked up more than a half foot of rainfall!
In Middle Tennessee, the largest 48-hour rain total was recorded in Cedar Hill, where nearly eight inches of rain was recorded. Western Robertson County, located northwest of Nashville, is where the heaviest rain fell.

Henry, Stewart, Montgomery, Cheatham, Robertson and Sumner counties saw the most rain in Middle Tennessee.
