NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Attention Nashville foodies! Three restaurants in Music City recently gained major bragging rights after claiming spots in Yelp’s annual “Top 100” list that names some of the best eateries in the country.
The twelfth annual list, released Wednesday, highlights some of Yelp’s high-rated eateries, which are based on suggestions provided by reviewers across the nation.
“Yelp’s annual list of the best US restaurants showcases fast-casual eateries, fine-dining establishments, and everything in between,” the company said in a statement.
Degthai
Degthai, located at 3025 Nolensville Road, has found itself on the list for the second time in a row, clinching the 28th spot.
According to Yelp, reviewers praise the establishment’s friendly service and menu, which offers all the classics from noodles to dumplings.
“Amazing food and amazing service. The owner is incredibly kind and friendly and really focuses on customer experience,” said one user. “This place truly meets all expectations, it’s so good! Try the fried rice, Jays special, egg rolls, etc. They’re all delicious. Trust me. The vibes are homey as well. So glad I was told about this place!!”
Jashan
Known for bringing the vibrant flavors of India to the Hillsboro Village area of Nashville, Jashan landed at No. 49 on the list.
According to the menu, the restaurant serves of variety of classics, including curries, samosas, biryani, chicken masala and several vegetarian options. Jashan also brings a Music City twist to their classic menu with items like Nashville Hot Chicken sliders.
“Jashan means celebrations, and this restaurant definitely lived up to its name! From ambience to food to service, everything was excellent. Kudos to the chef, management and entire staff for bringing the best Indian food to town,” expressed one reviewer. “I must say that the food was excellent with a menu that was unique compared to other Indian restaurants. We ordered some bao vada and a signature dish which was very different and yummy!
The restaurant, which sits at 2100 21st Avenue South, boasts 4.7 stars out of 76 reviews that were made by Yelp users.
Sindoore – Indian by Nature
Sindoore – Indian By Nature, praised for bringing authentic North Indian cuisine to Nashville, clinched the 55th spot on the list.
“Outstanding food, attentive service, great experience! Stopped in while in Nashville on business, was not disappointed. Saag paneer was super tasty, chicken vindaloo was tender and flavorful, garlic naan was fresh and perfect blend of crispy and chewy. Would totally come back here!” said one Yelp user, leaving a 5-star review.

According to Yelp, some of the most popular dishes at the establishment include butter chicken, chicken tikka salad, cauliflower Manchurian, and goat curry.
