NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WRKN) — A 19-year-old is being charged with attempted murder after police said he fired shots into a White Creeks home earlier this week, leaving a resident injured.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), the incident took place at approximately 10:15 p.m. at a home along Del Sol Drive on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
News 2 previously reported a man was inside his home when he heard someone outside pulling on vehicle door handles. The 35-year-old victim reportedly caught the 19-year-old “lurking around” his pickup truck and was shot after he opened a window to confront the suspects.
He was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center to be treated for critical but non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
On Friday, police announced 19-year-old Jordan Worthington was charged with attempted murder for shooting into the home.
No other information was immediately released.
