NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A Nashville Fire Department employee resigned from the department last month after he was accused of indecent exposure in May 2024.
According to Metro police, the 35-year-old firefighter was arrested and charged on Jan. 13, 2025 in connection with the incident that happened in Madison on May 7, 2024.
The victim told investigators she was driving to a business on Gallatin Pike when she noticed a man following her closely in a gray truck. The victim then changed lanes to get away and went to a nearby Walmart instead to see if he would stop following her, according to court documents.
She went inside the Walmart, hoping the firefighter would stop following her, but when she came outside and walked to her vehicle, he reportedly drove up to her and said “you know you like what you see.”
The victim then noticed the driver was exposed and actively masturbating inside his truck, according to court documents. The man drove away and the victim called 911.
According to Metro police, the victim noted the man was wearing a Nashville Fire Department shirt and there were NFD decals on the truck along with a firefighter license plate.
Walmart surveillance video captured the incident between the firefighter and the victim.
