NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A 24-year-old woman has been apprehended and charged for a shooting that injured two men last month.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), Specialized Investigations Division TITANS apprehended Kenyal Pinkerton, 24, for shooting two men on Jan. 29 outside of a Fain Street home in the Napier Area. A 39-year-old victim was wounded in the legs, and a 26-year-old victim was hit in the groin, police said. Both are recovering.
Police said the investigation indicates Pinkerton was among four people, all acquaintances, who had gotten into a fight on Fain Street, after which Pinkerton retrieved a gun and fired shots. Pinkerton is charged with attempted criminal homicide, felony reckless endangerment, aggravated assault, and gun possession in the commission of a dangerous felony.
According to MNPD, Pinkerton was also wanted on domestic assault charges stemming from an altercation with a former girlfriend on Feb. 1 at the time of her arrest Thursday.
Pinkerton’s bond was set by a judicial commissioner at $283,500, according to police.
